Changing the Narrative Season 1 Episode 4 Life, Energy, Culture, Water

The fourth episode of #changingthenarrative “Life, Energy, Culture, Water” is LIVE right now.

In this episode, we tackle a very important and sensitive subject, focusing on the challenges faced by one of our main characters, Mei-Li, regarding borderline personality disorder. I truly admire her efforts and courage in publicly discussing such a difficult journey. Many people out there may be struggling with mental health conditions, and bringing these issues into the open, especially from a young person’s perspective, is incredibly commendable.

Additionally, this episode highlights water safety and the importance of swimming, particularly when on holiday. Imzy and his friends take us on a journey that emphasises a topic we often overlook, swimming safety while on holiday. This is a crucial conversation, and I’m glad we’re addressing it.

This episode also introduces some new faces who have even more valuable insight and experiences to share from religious ceremonies and live music performances to getting into the actual pool. I know this episode will strike a cord with many. Don’t forget the finally episode which sees us conclude the Docu-Series. You wont want to miss the special ending!

The new documentary NO Lifeguard redefines the concept of a lifeguard to include each individual's personal responsibility for preventing drowning.

We are taking the current definition of a lifeguard far too literally and relying too heavily on someone else to keep us safe. That

Dear World,

I am going to be the next victim of drowning, even though I am not aware of it.

I live in a world where water is both beautiful and dangerous, and I don’t fully understand the risks that surround me.

I don’t have the answers, but I do know that something is clearly

My mum always used to say that the best advice for water safety and drowning prevention is to stay away from the water to avoid drowning. While that's solid advice, we also need to recognize that we don't always plan to be near water; sometimes we unexpectedly find ourselves in

Three essential questions that could save lives:
1. What skills do I possess?
2. What is the current state of the water?
3. How would I respond if I encountered difficulty in the water?
